Before moving down to NC, Kenny changed his Facebook Dating settings to have him show up in the Myrtle Beach Area. Comes across Heather’s profile & messages her to “Apply For The Partner In Crime Position”.

After texting for not even 24 Hours, Kenny suggests a phone call. Reluctant at first, Heather agrees. (She told Kenny she wasn’t a phone person.) That changed real fast.

After numerous hours of texting and talking, Heather suggests they meet for a drink or coffee. Kenny tells her “I don’t drink & I don’t like coffee”. They then decide to go out to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant called Costa.

After countless phone calls, texts and hanging out together, Kenny stops by one night with a bouquet of flowers. They sat out back at Heather’s house under the stars and hung out for hours. Kenny goes inside, only to come back out with 1 Carnation. Hands it to Heather and asks “Will you be my girlfriend?”. Heather said “Yes!”.

Throughout their relationship, there has been numerous fun filled adventures. From partying 70’s Style in Chicago to Hockey & Football games to weekend getaways in Asheville to Christmas in Aruba to Nashville & Graceland to just relaxing on the couch… And all filled with Love and Laughter!

Valentine’s Day weekend, Kenny surprised Heather with a romantic weekend getaway. Everything went exactly as planned, ending with Heather walking into Kenny’s apartment – which was completely decorated. As Kenny prepared glasses for a toast, he hands Heather a wrapped bottle of Wine. Once she opened it, she realized it was custom etched with “Heather, Will You marry Me? Love, Kenny”. Kenny drops to his knee with ring in hand & asked for her hand in marriage. As Heather is crying, all that came out was “You Asshole! You Bastard!” (100% True) And then she officially said “Yes!”.
